Parental Loss
Losing a parent is more than losing someone you love - it can feel like losing the person who knew your story best, the connection to your past, and part of who you are.
This is a space for anyone living through the deep and often lonely experience of losing a parent. Whether the loss was sudden or expected, whether it happened early in life or much later, your grief matters and you do not have to carry it alone.
We can work together to help you to understand the shock and trauma that can follow an unexpected death, or being in the painful space between caring for a parent and preparing to say goodbye.
Losing a parent can feel like losing your roots, history, and sense of belonging.
Sometimes navigating mourning when the relationship with a parent was strained, distant, or unresolved can be really difficult, working through regrets, unfinished conversations, and the weight of things left unsaid.
You do not have to have it all figured out.
You are allowed to take this one step at a time.
Support is here when you are ready.
